What is a Food Forest…
A food forest, also called a forest garden, is a diverse planting of edible plants that attempts to mimic the ecosystems and patterns found in nature. Food forests are three dimensional designs, with life extending in all directions – up, down, and out.
Finally, I am comforted and enthused that what I have been practicing for several years now is also the proper direction for a balanced existence with the life that surrounds me that I have been protecting in the way that makes sence to me. Forests and diversity have enormous varieties that some folks look at negatively.
